Terms of Use
Verse of the Day: Large Print · Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Verse of the Day: Large Print app ("the app") on iPhone or Android. By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; if these terms and that agreement differ, Apple's agreement controls for your use on Apple devices.
1. The app
The app shows a daily Bible verse, the full Bible text, reading plans, saved verses and private prayer tools. Reading the Bible, the daily verse, listening, plans and prayers are free. The Bible texts used are the King James Version and the World English Bible, both in the public domain in the United States.
2. Premium subscription
- Premium is optional. It is a yearly auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play.
- The price and length are shown on the purchase screen and by the store before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
3. Candles and gifts
Candles and optional gifts are one-time digital purchases. They are a way to mark a prayer and to support the app. They do not buy forgiveness, answered prayer or any spiritual benefit, and nothing about your faith depends on them. A candle is shown in the app for its stated burn time and then goes out. Some candle purchases also include lifetime Premium, as shown before you buy.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds follow their policies: on iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through Google Play. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
5. Your content
Prayers, confessions, notes and saved verses stay on your phone. You are responsible for any backup file you export and where you keep it.
6. No professional advice
The app offers Scripture and devotional content. It is not medical, legal, financial or professional counseling. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or someone you trust.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change or stop parts of the app. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
8. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
